ENFIELD .303 'MAGAZINE LEE-METFORD 1888 PATTERN MK1* BOLT-MAGAZINE SERVICE RIFLE, serial no. 7471, dated 1895, 30 1/4in. nitro reproved (in 2022) barrel, ramp-mounted bead fore-sight, adjustable tangent rear sight marked to 1700 yards, bayonet lug with replacement clearing rod, volley sights, magazine cut-off, bolt with dust cover and incorporated shroud to bolt-head, round-nosed detachable magazine, band marked 'VR under crown, ENFIELD. 1895. 1*', canvas and leather sling, three-quarter length stock with grooved fore-end and small notch below the cut-off, brass roundel to right-hand side marked '2 1895 1.R.G.M. 73', iron buttplate with central trapdoor containing oiler, weight 9lb. 15oz.
